Customer Service/Sales Associate
Full or part-time
$10/Hour

The Customer Service/Sales Associate works directly under the supervision of the president. He/she is responsible for checking animals in and out of boarding and grooming, assisting customers with luggage/belongings, answering the telephones, scheduling appointments, collecting money due for services rendered, giving guided facility tours, and recommending products and services to clients in a convincing manner. The Customer Service/Sales Associate represents The Barkley™ to the public, therefore, it is of the utmost importance that he/she assure each customer of the best possible service and to be constantly courteous. In doing so, he/she must understand all policies, procedures, and service strategies, including knowledge of any special promotions offered. This position includes some dog and cat handling, therefore, a basic comfort with dogs/cats is suggested. The Customer Service/Sales Associate must possess strong sales, people, and customer relation skills and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Computer experience and basic math competency is strongly preferred. This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits; however, qualified part-time employees may be used as needed.
