Our staff consists of responsible, devoted and detail-oriented animal care professionals. Each staff member is trained and certified by the American Boarding Kennels Association to offer unparalleled customer service and animal care expertise. Our low ratio of pet guests to staff promises proper attention to your best friend.

24-Hour Security
Security at The Barkley is our primary concern. That’s why we offer 24-hour supervision for all of our pet guests. The facility also boasts redundant exit doors and eight foot fencing to ensure our guests remain on the premises. Our fire suppression, alarm and key-card entry systems also help ensure pet safety while our video surveillance systems monitor and record the grounds for an uncompromised, safe environment.

Superior Sanitation
The Barkley’s centrally linked sanitation system assures uniform attention to cleanliness. Hospital grade disinfectants are used to keep areas spotless and “flea-free”. To prevent the spread of odors, airborne germs and contaminates, our one-of-a-kind ventilation system circulates air continuously with evenly-distributed, draft-free fresh air which is replaced multiple times per hour. Commercial-style dishwashing and laundry facilities ensure fresh and sanitary dinnerware, bedding and towels.

Maximum Comfort
The Barkley’s unique construction allows for safer, brighter, and more comfortable conditions than traditional boarding kennels. Our climate control system is designed to ensure temperatures are maintained between 60-80 degrees with humidity levels at 30-70%. Our guest suites are separated into zones to help minimize stress and noise factors. The end results are maximum comfort – in all seasons.

Special Events Center
The Barkley is proud to host educational speakers, birthday parties, yappy hours, pooch-cake breakfasts, bar(k) mitzvahs, muttrimonies, or other special occasions. Our party planners may be able to assist you in the development of your event, including: invitations, costumes, props, party favors, and treats.
