Check-in
Check-in time is 3:00pm to enable housekeeping to properly prepare each suite for its’ next guest. We shall make every attempt to accommodate special requests for early check-ins. There is always a full charge for the first day of stay, regardless of check-in time. PLEASE ALLOW AT LEAST 15 MINUTES WHEN CHECKING IN.

Check-out
Check-out time is 12:00pm. Pets leaving after 12:00pm will be charged an additional one (1) night’s stay unless scheduled for a grooming service on the day of check- out. We regret that we cannot accommodate check-outs during non-business hours.

Controlled Travel
All pets entering and exiting The Barkley must be on a leash or in a carrier until directed otherwise. The Barkley provides customized identification collars upon arrival, therefore, all carriers, leashes, collars and harnesses will be returned to owner upon check-in.

Right of Refusal
The Barkley reserves the right to refuse admittance to any pet guest for any reason, at any time, who lacks proof of vaccinations, displays signs of untreated or potentially contagious conditions, demonstrates aggressive behavior, or who fails our standard health and temperament policies. Each pet receives a pre-entry evaluation prior to admittance. All guests must be in good health and must not have had or been exposed to any contagious or communicable illnesses within a 30-day period prior to check-in. Pets showing signs of vomiting, coughing, gagging, sneezing, or diarrhea will not be admitted. Pet showing signs of fleas or ticks will be treated at owner’s expense.

Pet Profile
Every pet guest must have an Overnight Guest Profile Package completed prior to his/her stay. This profile allows us to get to know your pet on a personal level, understand his/her handling preferences and to utilize the medical records, personality profiles and special needs information for the health, safety and well-being of your pet.

Belongings
Due to safety and sanitary considerations, we regret we cannot accept any personal belongings (toys, beds, blankets, etc.) other than a disposable t-shirt for separation anxiety.  The Barkley is a full-service establishment and provides all the necessary clean bedding, toys and blankets which comfort your pet and adheres to our strict standards.
