We invite you to take a first-hand look at our facility. We broadcast live web cams 24-hours per day for your convenience. However, for the safety and benefit of our pet guests, it has become necessary to limit personal facility tours to the following days and times:

Tuesday: 6pm
Wednesday: 12pm
Thursday: 6pm
Saturday: 12pm, 2pm
Sunday: 1pm

Due to strict vaccination standards, please no pets allowed on tours.

After 5 years of extensive research, including consultation with some of the world’s leading veterinarians, trainers, pet psychologists, architects and builders, The Barkley was custom designed and constructed with one simple goal in mind: to be one of America’s premier pet care facilities.

Every inch of the award-winning, 15,000 square foot facility has professional reasoning behind it. From the spacious floor plans, specialized flooring and color schemes to the three-acre “pet-safe” landscape, the end results are cleaner, safer, and more comfortable conditions than traditional boarding kennels.

Our guest suites utilize separation materials, techniques, and technology to help minimize stress and noise factors. Mechanically, to prevent the spread of odors, airborne germs and contaminates, our one-of-a-kind ventilation system circulates air continuously with evenly distributed, draft-free fresh air - which is replaced multiple times per hour. Our climate control system ensures proper temperatures are maintained between 60-80 degrees with humidity levels at 30-70%. A centrally linked sanitation system assures uniform attention to cleanliness, while hospital-grade disinfectants keep areas spotless and “flea-free”. Commercial-style dishwashing and laundry facilities produce fresh and sanitary dinnerware, bedding and towels.

The facility boasts redundant exit doors and eight foot (buried) fencing to ensure our guests remain on the premises. Fire suppression, alarm and key-card entry systems also help ensure pet safety while video surveillance systems monitor and record the grounds for an uncompromised, safe environment. The end result is maximum care, maximum comfort and maximum safety – in all seasons.
